Mull
General Information
Mull is located in the Highland region of Scotland, United Kingdom and is the third largest island in Scotland. In the centre of Mull is Ben More which at an elevation of 3,169 feet it is popular with keen walkers and hikers.
Having been populated since the last ice age, Mull is filled with a rich cultural heritage and is home to many monuments and historical sites. Loch Buie with its standing stones to traditional medieval castles, Mull offers something for everyone.
The island's main town is Tobermory which is famous for its colourful waterfront buildings and yachts bobbing in its natural harbour along with it being the setting for the children’s hit TV-show Balamory.
Craignure is the main access point to Mull, with a frequent daily car ferry link from Oban.
